Return of Django was one of the first reggae singles I bought, must have been 12 or 13 and used all the money Imgot from helping the local milkman on his rounds before school to buy reggae and skinhead clobber. Mad as a hatter but was responsible for some great music.

Saw him play Walthamstow Town Hall, early '70s' Played a great set, held a lit torch in his hand for the whole set, no apparent reason.

He had a good innings, but it’s always a bit sad when the big boys pass.
